____Drexel has over 40 years of experience in the test and evaluation of critical components and systems for the defense, aerospace, energy, transportation and commercial product industries with increasing responsibilities from technical, to contract administration to executive management, that range from test engineer to corporate management. Retiring in December 2008 as the Corporate Sr. Vice President of Wyle Laboratories Inc., then a $800 million/4,000-person technology services company, he was responsible for business development; marketing and communications; environment, health & safety; real property; and government relations. Previous assignment was Senior Vice President & General Manager, Technical Support Services (TSS) Business Unit that operated and maintained laboratories and research facilities for government and industry clients such as DoD, NASA and major prime contractors.

Today he is principal of the Drexel Consulting Group, an executive management consulting group supporting corporations and new business start-up companies. Mr. Smith has over 35 years of experience in civic and political action activities having served on a variety of boards and committees including:

(1) 2009 Present - Appointed to the West Covina Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Elected President June 2010;

(2) 2009- Present - Governors appointment to the 48th Agriculture & Nutrition Board of Directors

(3) 2006-2010 - Appointed to Mt. San Antonio College Citizens Oversight Committee to review and report on facility construction bond expenditures;

(4) 2004-2008 - Board of Directors, California Space Authority;

(5) 2005-2008 - Member, Board of Visitors, Claremont Graduate University, School of Religion;

(6) Former member of Waste/Rail Haul Select Committee with the Sanitation Districts Board of Directors;

(7) Served eight years as a member of the Board of Directors for the Sanitation Districts, Los Angeles County;

(8) Mid 1980's Created and implemented San Gabriel Valley Waste Management Task Force;

(9) 1979-1982 - Served as Planning Commissioner for the City of Walnut; two years as Chairman.

(10) 1982-1994 Elected for (3) four-year terms as a City Councilman and served (3) terms as Mayor, City of Walnut, California.

Mr. Smith remains active in the political process both locally and in Washington.

Mr. Smith is a combat veteran having served honorably with the United States Navy for over four years.
