January 2009 - DCG supports SoCalBizOps with the devleopment of a 24 hour 'Access to Business Capital - ABC' training program for the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. This training program is intended to support the samll business owner for better understand concepts of strategic planning, marketing, business finance, business plan devleopment and presentation of the 'plan' to lenders and investors.

January - June 2009 - Drexel Smith of DCG continues to give talks on the issues of the againg workforce within the aerospace industry and workforce/education issues to civic groups, political groups and educational organizations.

March 2009 - DCG begins devleopment of a San Gabriel Valley wide Chamber of Commerce coalition organization to provide business related information; promotions, education/training and advocacy services to all 29 local chambers within the San Gabriel Valley that support the 31 cities east of Los Angeles County.

June 2009 - Drexel Smith elected as first Vice President of the West Covina Chamber of Commerce.

May 2010 - Drexel Smith receives appointment to 48th Agriculture and Nutrition Boad by Governor.

June 2010 - Drexel Smith elected as president of the West Covina Chamber of Commerce.

July 2010 - Drexel Smith serves as Energy & Environment policy advisor to major political campaigns.

October 2010 - Drexel Consulting Group, LLC celebrates second year at Glendora Avenue Location and continues to build client base.
